Dr. Yang is a Kansas City native transplanted to a proud SoCal Bruin, having attended UCLA for her Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. For her Doctorate of Optometry, she attended Western University in Pomona, where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.

Dr. Yang has been passionate about service since her time at UCLA. She continues to give back to the community now, offering free optometric services at service events in the Los Angeles and Inland Empire regions. 

Dr. Yang is involved as a board member on the Los Angeles County Optometric Society and as a member of the California Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. She enjoys travelling and listening to music in her spare time.
